At just 10.3 pounds, Mafell’s K65 18M BI cordless circular saw sports the best weight-to-power ratio in its class and a maximum cutting depth over 2-5/8in (67mm). A red pointer marks the exact cutting line when off a track (even during a bevel cut) and bright LEDs highlight a sizeable work area when the switch trigger is pulled. The front of the saw features an ergonomic second handle, and Mafell’s popular dust bag comes standard in the back to capture an impressive amount of sawdust—even during bevel cuts due to its clever design. The standard Rip Fence (or Roller Edge Guide accessory) can be used on either side of the saw for straight cuts or as outrigger support (such as during a bevel cut). Also included is the handy T-MAX carrying case measuring 16 x 12 x 13in that fits the saw, dust bag, fence, charger and batteries perfectly. Most users are able to move around the jobsite all day with two or three batteries thanks to the convenient 120 V charger and the latest brushless 18 V Lithium-ion technology. Battery charge can be checked anytime with the press of a button, and the processor monitors and controls all factors such as battery charge and temperature to maximize stamina.

The saw maintains excellent cutting depth on the lightweight Mafell Guide Rail System (the rails, connecting pieces and clamps are themselves quite transportable in the Guide Rail Bag accessory). Lengthwise the KSS 60 18M BI is able to cross-cut a full 16in on its world-class track, with adjustable smart stops allowing for miter cuts up to 60° in either direction, plus the track is wide enough for the user’s left thumb to properly hold the track at all times. Perfectly-sized blades and a unique tilting system help this cordless saw cut 2-3/8in deep at 0° and 1-13/16in deep at 45° when on a track.
